Mid-Autumn Festival Community Activity

Today’s volunteering experience at the Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre was truly meaningful and heartwarming. Our team collaborated with the North Shore Asian Association to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, one of the most important traditional holidays in Asian culture. We helped assemble and distribute paper lanterns to families and children at the event.

Everyone worked together in an organized and efficient way—some volunteers focused on building lanterns, while others handed them out and guided visitors. It was wonderful to see so many people smiling and learning about our culture. The teamwork, communication, and festive atmosphere made the whole experience unforgettable.

I’m very proud of our team’s effort, and I look forward to continuing to share kindness and culture with our community in future events.
