Attend the premiere of “Music is Calling” in New York

On April 6, at the New York premiere of *Music is Calling*—a documentary profiling the young autistic pianist Duan Bowen—Amy Sun and Allen Zhai attended the event as representatives of the organization Heartik. The film chronicles the inspiring journey of 24-year-old Duan Bowen—an autistic pianist—as he uses music to break through his isolation, connect with the world, and ultimately take the stage at Carnegie Hall.

Heartik, the organization represented by Amy Sun and Allen Zhai, is a non-profit dedicated to supporting and providing companionship to individuals with special needs through artistic and craft-based activities. At the event, they shared with the audience how they utilize programs—including inclusive painting, arts and crafts workshops, and online assisted reading sessions—to create greater opportunities for social integration for autistic children and adolescents.
