Participation@Donation for Project Ready Autism Awareness Month Event

(18/04/2026)

On April 18th, Heartik was invited to the “Inclusive Community, Acceptance Culture”, 2nd Annual Autism Awareness Month Community Event held by our close partner for years, Project Ready. Amy Sun represented Heartik at the event, joined fellow advocates, organization leaders, and community members in a shared effort to promote inclusion for and understanding of all. Heartik representative remitting our donation, and exchanged Heartik’s values and ideals during speeches. The event centered on collaboration and expression of all voices, particularly those of young leaders.

A defining highlight of the event was the presentations of arts, performed by special-needs children of Project Ready. Within the atmosphere filled with total peace and understanding for all built by organization leaders, district councils, and founders of the event, children were able to fully and freely express their thoughts, emotions, and ideals. Youth leaders (Heartik representatives included) confidently communicated their mission and vision, offering original perspectives on awareness and inclusion: “Our works and progress today are meant to build a fully understanding and free society. True understanding is built upon acknowledgement. Neurodiversity and disabilities should not be kept behind the curtains. In fact, the opposite, we need to include all groups in the fight against ableism.” Our Heartik’s own mission, “Every special needs child to fully and freely express themselves,” was accomplished during the event through the collaboration of all, representing dedication and connection; our mission will take root in society.

Throughout the discussion, one theme was repeatedly brought to attention– diversity. Diversity is the key theme of all Heartik events, from the AOA workshop to the annual Holiday celebrations. Difference is what keeps humans advancing and evolving, and society peaceful. Difference is the best gift from God.

In support of the initiatives presented, Heartik made a financial donation to help sustain and expand their work. This contribution reflects an ongoing commitment to building inclusive spaces and empowering individuals with autism to lead and thrive.
