HEARTIK’s Outreach Event-Stress Ball Workshop for Community Children on 09/14

On September 14th, Heartik hosted a community outreach event at Firefighters Park in Great Neck. The event was designed to engage local families and children through a free, hands-on activity and to raise awareness for our mission of supporting children with special needs.

During the event, Heartik volunteers worked with children to create their own stress balls. This free activity encouraged creativity, fine motor skills, and offered a fun, sensory experience for participants. Families and children alike expressed excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to participate.

In addition to the stress ball activity, Heartik also set up a small stand to sell handmade items. All proceeds from these sales were directed entirely toward our nonprofit programs supporting children with special needs. By combining a free interactive craft with a fundraising element, the event both strengthened community ties and furthered Heartik’s mission.

The event was a meaningful success. It not only provided a memorable experience for local children but also raised funds and awareness for Heartik’s ongoing efforts. We are grateful to the volunteers, families, and park staff who helped make the day possible.
