The Fusion Basketball Team held a lively event on July 19, 2026

On July 19, 2026, Heartik’s Inclusive Basketball Team held its sixth training session at Wyckham Park in Great Neck. Participants practiced shooting, passing, and teamwork before wrapping up the session with a friendly scrimmage. Both the volunteers and the players had a wonderful time learning and playing together. One young participant, who has attended five training sessions, has made remarkable progress—from having no basketball experience at all to confidently passing the ball and making successful shots. It was inspiring to witness how consistent practice, encouragement, and an inclusive environment helped build both skills and confidence.
